Since they are mostly paying students from wealthy families now. The government cooks the inflation figures artifically low then uses that number for funding increases. In return the unis need to accept more paying students. :P

Burgers are cheap to make especially if you have your suppliers and systems in place. The grill'd blog response tries to make out they're a small business but they're a large national franchise. Maybe not on the scale of the scary clown but by no means a small ma and pa store.

~$350,000-$450,000 + ongoing royalties for a franchise !!! Someone is cashing in.
