Default Ginger

Howdy brissy.com,

Can anyone suggest a good recipe that uses ginger? I have never really cooked with it before but thought I would buy some the other day. I think some sort of main meal would be good.

Cheers,

JazzC.

Most asian food has ginger. If you're really keen, you should try candied ginger. It's pretty damn awesome

Any dish in particular you would like to try? My family is cantonese so we usually use quite a lot of ginger. Ginger is used in seafood the most as it takes away the fishy smell. You could also use it for beef or chicken...pork and lamb not so much. Maybe you could tell me what you'd like to cook it with and I can look for a recipe for you

Awesome. That would be amazing. Anything with prawns, chicken or beef would be excellent.

I would be quite interested in a prawn dish though.

Thankyou.
