Asshole Train Commuters

I see that the aisles are packed with people who have had to stand the entire way, but as soon as the train stops I'll stand up and push my way out in front of everyone! Fuck you guys, I'm in a hurry!"

ITT, worst train/bus commuting experiences

I've been on crutches the last 4 months and thankfully haven't had to catch public transport much in that time, but the times that I have most people didn't even seem to notice me, let alone let me on first or *gasp* offer me their seat.

I'm normally the first to stand if a train is getting near full cos I (was) an able-bodied young(-ish!) man, so figured other than school kids I'm in the demographic that should be the first to relinquish a seat. Especially given I'm only 2 zones from the city.

But my last few experiences where I've almost been knocked out of the way by people as they scramble for a seat left me about where you're at right now.

A clearly pregnant woman forced to stand on a train for 25 minutes
